Carrickvale Golf Club is fully affiliated to the Scottish Golf Union, and as a member you’ll be able to obtain a full national handicap if you don’t already have one.

Competitions

Summer and Winter

There are Gents and a Seniors Medal every month, with other major competitions throughout the season. You can enjoy competitive golf and the chance to reduce your handicap several times every month!

The Summer Singles and Fourball competitions are always well supported, and the Club Championships take place at the end of June. We also run competitions every month during the winter including an 18-hole Eclectic.

Morning times only

Thanks to our special relationship with Edinburgh Leisure, Carrickvale G.C. members can avoid the normal booking process by using the “courtesy times” reserved for club competitions. The courtesy sheets are posted in the clubhouse in advance, offering morning slots for four-ball play when you can make new friends with your playing companions.
